GUIDELINES - security

Use a device that has PC capabilities. Cell phones are not adequate for Security.

Before the Meeting

  1. If you are going to be late or need to reschedule, please text Pam or  Matt 
  2. Arrive 15 minutes early to set-up the room. (Before you set the room make sure you plan on staying at your keyboard.)
    • Security Criteria (see sample A): (This is no longer correct )
    • MUTE the entire  Room once the Chairperson starts the meeting.
      • NEW PROCEDURE-You and the Chairperson  must decide who will unmute the readers and later, unmute the participants with raised hands.
      • Start /Stop Video.as needed
      • At 45 minutes AFTER the hour, Set Chat to "Everyone and Anyone Directly".


Sample A Security Criteria

During the Meeting

  1.  Our mission is to welcome everyone. Participants are not required to have video on -  
  2. If you step away from your keyboard, please notify your backup or a cohost to cover you. 
  3. As the Chairperson starts the Topic Lead, Set the Chat Settings to "Host and Co-Host Only" (see sample B)
  4. At 45 mins past the hour, return the Chat to "Everyone and Anyone Directly." (see sample B)
  5. Stop/Start Video as needed (... more button) of anyone vaping, smoking dope or driving.

Bombers!

  1. Trolls and Bombers should be placed in the waiting room prior to removal.
  2. Removal and reporting should be done from the waiting room.  
  3. If a person is undressed put them in the waiting room and remove. 
  4.  If a REGULAR participant tells you they are being harassed, removed the bomber. 
  5. If a new person tells you that they are being harassed, THEY ARE MOST LIKELY THE BOMBER!   
  6. Remember that bombers are trying to trip you up. Two bombers will tell on each other to get a reaction from you.  
  7.  If there is much offensive behavior a host will help you.   Stay calm and don't let them disrupt the meeting.
